Spotlight Award Winner: Maria Estrada
This month's Spotlight Award winner is Maria Estrada, Program Support Specialist at the Fresno Service Center. Through her dedication to outreach, community engagement, and service to farmworker families, Maria has made a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
Maria consistently goes above and beyond in supporting outreach and recruitment efforts. Whether attending resource fairs, community partner meetings, or conducting evening presentations at apartment complexes where farmworker families reside, she is always willing to make herself available to connect individuals with 9i services.
Her commitment extends beyond the office. Maria frequently engages with farmworkers in the fields, helping ensure workers and their families are aware of available programs and resources. She has also strengthened community partnerships by connecting with local Spanish-language radio stations, resulting in live interviews, outreach events, social media promotion, and public service announcements highlighting 9i services.
Through her efforts, Maria has helped increase awareness of our programs, build trust within the community, and connect more farmworkers and their families to valuable resources. Her passion for serving others and willingness to go the extra mile make her a deserving recipient of this recognition.
