The sixth graduating class of 2026 from the Truck Driving Program was recognized during a ceremony held at the Administration in May. Eight students were presented with certificates of completion, making them eligible to take their Class A license driving test at the DMV as they prepare to begin careers in the transportation industry.
The graduation ceremony featured three guest speakers, including two students from the graduating class who shared their experiences and reflections on completing the program. The third guest speaker was Julissa Chavez from the Porterville Service Center, who offered words of encouragement and expressed her pride in her customer, who was among the graduates. Chavez had one of her customers graduate during this ceremony.
Special recognition also goes to Noah Arzola, Director of Education, for leading the ceremony, as well as Truck Driving Instructor Anthony Sanchez, who addressed the graduates and shared how proud he was of his students and their accomplishments throughout the program.
The next Truck Driving Program graduation is scheduled for June 9.
