Sanger Service Center Hosts Long Sleeve Open House to Close Out May

The Sanger Service Center closed out May with its one-year anniversary at their new location and their own Long Sleeve Open House, welcoming 60 community members to the office for an afternoon of resources, connection, and support. Guests received a presentation highlighting the full range of services available through 9i, Inc., and had the opportunity to select long-sleeve shirts collected by the Sanger office during the AFOP National Long Sleeve Drive held in April.

Long-sleeve shirts play an important role in supporting farmworkers by reducing exposure to the sun and heat-related illnesses while also providing protection against pesticides in the fields.

The first 50 guests were also treated to tacos by Taco El Alex.

The Sanger Service Center marks the fourth office to host a Long Sleeve Open House, continuing a series of events focused on outreach, resources, and community engagement.
