On Wednesday, January 29th, 9i果冻制作厂 joined Kern CASA (Climate Action Solutions Access), a project led by CCAC in partnership with 9i果冻制作厂, Clean Water Action, and the Central California Environmental Justice Network, with funding from California Jobs First and the Kern Coalition. The initiative focuses on advancing whole-home electrification, climate resilience, and clean energy job opportunities in low-income communities across Kern County. The meeting brought together project partners, community leaders, and stakeholders to launch Kern CASA and outline goals, roles, and next steps.
9i果冻制作厂 will serve as a training facility for program participants. Students will enroll in the Kern County Energy Efficiency Technician program at our William M. Maguy School of Education, where they will learn basic plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, and weatherization techniques. By the end of the eight-week course, students will earn OSHA 10 Construction Safety, Forklift, and EPA 608 HVAC Technician certifications, along with career counseling and industry-related job placement support.
Kern County residents interested in participating are encouraged to call (661) 721-5800 to learn more and enroll in this exciting program.
